Our verdict
Epic Cyprus suits Cyprus residents who want a network operator's own line rather than a reseller, with prepaid entry and 5G on the same account. Entry starts at €2 and unlimited data at €19.99 per month, though the 24-month commitment and a February price adjustment reward a longer view.

Pros and cons
Pros
- Entry at €2 is well below the site median of €9.30, so finding out what a line costs costs little.
- Unlimited data at €19.99 sits under the site median of €23.19, so heavy use is not priced at premium levels.
- Sim only and Esim are both yes, so you can keep the handset you own and skip a card arriving through the post.
- 5G is available, and 95.2% of the offers listed carry it, so it is a standard expectation here rather than a paid extra.
- Support runs on phone, chat and help centre, and phone is the most common channel on the site at 81.5%, so a call is a normal route in.
Cons
- contract and prepaid covers contract and prepaid only, so there is no rolling monthly option for anyone who wants to walk away each month.
- Contract plans run 24 months, so the monthly figure is committed for a long stretch.
- Annual CPI price adjustment on 1 February each year sets an annual adjustment in line with the consumer price index, so the entry figure is a starting point rather than a rate that stays put.
- On unlimited data the plan ranks 68 of 173, a fair price rather than a standout one.
Who it suits
- Cyprus residents who want a plan from the network itself: Epic Cyprus is based in Cyprus and sells as network.
- People testing a line before committing, since €2 buys a prepaid pack without a contract while unlimited data on 5G Unlimited Max costs €19.99.
- Anyone who wants an eSIM and 5G from the same operator, since Esim is yes and 5G is yes.
Who should look elsewhere
- Anyone after the smallest possible entry figure, since Lonestar Cell MTN lists $0.20, well under Epic Cyprus at €2.
- People who want rolling monthly billing, since yesss! lists contract, rolling and prepaid at contract, rolling and prepaid, a combination Epic Cyprus leaves out of contract and prepaid.
Pricing
Entry price and unlimited price tell the story. Getting in costs €2 on the Pay As You Go Pack, a prepaid option bought as a single payment rather than a monthly bill. That sits well under the site median of €9.30 for plans here, so the headline figure is low. Unlimited data costs more: 5G Unlimited Max runs at €19.99 per month, where 5G Max Value is the capped data plan on the same contract basis. That unlimited figure sits below the site median of €23.19, though Epic Cyprus still lands mid-table on it, at position 68 of 173. Two things to hold on to once you join. The published figures are what you plan around, and each February prices are adjusted in line with the consumer price index, so the entry price is a starting point rather than a rate that stays still.
What it does well
Three answers do most of the work, and all three come back yes. It is a SIM only seller, so you can use a handset you already own and pay for the line alone. It offers an eSIM, so the profile can be set up on a compatible phone without waiting for a card through the post, which suits anyone adding an extra line or replacing a lost SIM. 5G is available too, so a compatible handset with local 5G coverage reaches the newer generation network rather than being held on the older one. Taken together, the three answers point to people who treat the phone as a device they own and the plan as a line they control.
Who runs it
Epic Cyprus sells as network, so the organisation behind the tariff is the same one you deal with day to day. The company behind the plans is epic ltd, based in Cyprus, which makes these home-market plans for Cyprus rather than a service aimed at people living elsewhere. Support runs on phone, chat and help centre, which keeps your first point of contact inside the company running the network. On a contract plan that matters, because an account change or a billing query goes straight to the operator rather than through a reseller. The prepaid pack sits with the same company, so the difference between the two billing styles is the commitment, not the counterparty.

Frequently asked questions
What does Epic Cyprus cost to join?+
The entry point is €2 for the Pay As You Go Pack, bought as a single prepaid payment rather than a monthly bill. For a monthly commitment, 5G Max Value is the capped data plan and 5G Unlimited Max costs €19.99 per month. Both figures sit under the site medians of €9.30 and €23.19.
How long is the Epic Cyprus contract?+
Contract plans run 24 months, so the monthly figure is tied up for a long stretch before you are free to move. The prepaid Pay As You Go Pack carries no such commitment, which makes it the softer way in if you are not yet sure. Billing covers both styles under contract and prepaid.
Will my price go up after I join?+
Prices are adjusted once a year: Annual CPI price adjustment on 1 February each year sets an annual change in line with the consumer price index, applied each February. So €2 and €19.99 are the figures to start from rather than the ones you can count on later. Budget for a small annual move rather than a fixed rate.
Can I get an eSIM or a SIM only line?+
Yes on both counts. Sim only is yes, so you can use a handset you already own, and Esim is yes, so a compatible phone can be set up without a physical card arriving. Epic Cyprus sells as network, so the same operator runs the line and the eSIM rather than passing you to a third party.
Where does Epic Cyprus run and who is behind it?+
The plans come from epic ltd, based in Cyprus, and Epic Cyprus sells as network, so the operator behind the tariff is the organisation you deal with. These are home-market plans for Cyprus, and support runs on phone, chat and help centre, keeping your first contact inside the same company that runs the network.
How do I reach Epic Cyprus support?+
Support runs on phone, chat and help centre. On this site, phone is the most widely offered channel at 81.5%, so having a phone route listed is a strength rather than an exception. Because the same company runs the network, a billing or account query goes straight to the operator.
What data do the Epic Cyprus plans include?+
Epic Cyprus publishes a capped data plan alongside an unlimited one. 5G Max Value is the capped option, and 5G Unlimited Max removes the data limit at €19.99 per month on the same contract basis. If you regularly stream or share data from your phone, the unlimited plan is the one that matches how you use a line.
How does Epic Cyprus compare with GETESA, yesss! and Lonestar Cell MTN?+
On billing, GETESA lists prepaid and contract, the same two styles as Epic Cyprus at contract and prepaid, so terms alone will not separate them. yesss! adds rolling billing at contract, rolling and prepaid, which Epic Cyprus does not offer. On entry price, Lonestar Cell MTN lists $0.20, below Epic Cyprus at €2.
