What is Export rate?

In short

What a supplier pays for the solar electricity you send back into the grid.

An export rate is what a supplier pays for the electricity your solar panels push back into the grid. A higher rate rewards keeping that power for your own use, while a lower rate makes self-consumption the better play. EDF pays £0.13 to £0.18, 100Green £0.12, Ecotricity £0.12, Endesa €0.06 and ELECTRICITY RATINGS $0.25.
