What is Exit fee?
In short
An exit fee is the charge for ending an energy contract early, and a free one means you can leave without paying to close it.
An exit fee is the charge a supplier makes for ending your energy contract before its agreed end, and it is the amount you would owe if you switched earlier than planned. A supplier that lists no charge lets you close the contract at no cost. 100Green charges £0, Alperia charges €0 and Ecotricity charges £0. Arbor also lists $0, and Endesa lists €0. Because the cost of leaving is not the reason to stay with any of these, read the notice rules as well before you move.
