What is Router?
In short
The router is the box that links your broadband line to your devices and broadcasts the wifi signal, and what arrives in the box varies a lot.
A router is the box that connects the broadband line to your home and broadcasts the wifi signal your phones and laptops use. What arrives in the box varies between providers: 1pBroadband's list shows Free Premium Wi-Fi 6 Hub included, Abissnet includes Wi-Fi 6 included, Airband's list shows Nokia WiFi 6 mesh router included and ALIV's shows Smart Wifi Device included. AfricaOnline Namibia is the one to watch, because the hardware is bought separately at Wireless router N$699 to N$1800 rather than supplied with the service.
